Greetings,
The Raritan Yacht Club with the support of its Red Grant Regatta Committee is proud to announce that we will be hosting the 5th Annual "Sailing to Fight Juvenile Diabetes" Chartity Regatta.
In the past 4 years this program has contributed over $60,000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International. Although JDF is one of the smallest health related foundations, it has one of the highest percentages of its dollars going directly to research.
Juvenile Diabetes is a life long disease that strikes children and gradually progresses to dramatic complications. As we search for a cure, diabetics can only constantly monitor their blood, inject insulin daily and regulate their diet and activity in an attempt to lead a normal life.
How can you help? Just choose your level of contribution on the form provided and mail your tax deductible check or money order made out to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation today in the enclosed envelope. Early participation in this year's program will provide early recognition in our promotions. The "Sailing to Fight Juvenile Diabetes" Regatta has been broadcast on video and appeared in newspaper sporting and society sections as well as magazine publications.
Come join in the excitement of this year's Charity celebration. There will be 3 full days of activities on July 9th, 10th and 11th.
