Phasing Plan –Surf Rm, Grill Rm. & Docks and more, 5 years
and
beyond.
Phase 1- Surf room addition including handicapped bath, storage and
coat room plus finish off the disturbed area above bar plus column enclosures
and “soffit” separating the “porch”. At the same time complete the acoustical
elements and new lighting—including the grill room coffered ceiling and the
tray ceiling in the “porch” area.
Phase 2.Complete the Grill Room bathrooms, new trophy case and alcove
upgrade, as well as installing the East window wall- new energy efficient
windows facing the water. At this point we should begin obtaining
engineering and permits we can begin driving
piles for the new floats in year 3
Phase 3. Install all required
pilings for the new floating dock system and 1 new float at launch in order to
keep the launch operating without having a conflict with the new pilings
Phase 4. Install North-South floats.
Phase 5. Install East-West floats.
Phase 6 and beyond. Relocate the grill room bar
as envisioned in the Morrison Plan if it is approved by the membership
.Investigate the possibility of adding decks over the roofs of the lower yard
buildings to replace the lost deck space if the bar is moved. Extensively
re-grade the North lot, pave and fence off to
create 16 to 18 new parking spaces
The above “phases” can be considered a “priority” list
rather than a list of projects by the year as actually completing and funding
each project in this time frame is unlikely and dependant upon the approval of
capital funding by the membership to approve the funding at this rate.
We, the Planning Committee, believe we should move forward
with this well conceived Master Plan while we investigate the possibilities and
funding of the relocation of the bar. There is nothing in the Master Plan that
will prohibit the bar relocation if the membership desires this project.
