If sailing is your passion, whether it’s racing, cruising or improving your skills Raritan Yacht Club has it all. As you cruise around the site, the photos will give you a sense of what the on-the-water experience is like at Raritan Yacht Club.
For racers, we have one of the most active fleets in the Northeast. The racing is competitive but fun. The season runs from May through October with something for everyone from novices, one-design racers, offshore racers to serious PHRF racers we have a very busy race schedule.
Our two annual regattas – The Red Grant and Fall Series, are among the most competitive regattas in the area. Our Wednesday Night series regularly has over 30 boats on the water from J109s to non-spinnaker cruisers racing in 4 different classes.
We have an extensive program for Juniors including an active participation in racing, a Summer Sailing program and a great social life around the club.
Raritan Yacht Club is also ideal for cruisers. Raritan Bay is perfect for day sailing and even overnight cruising. For the more adventurous, go 14 miles East and turn left for New York Harbor and LI Sound or straight ahead for the Atlantic Ocean. Our Cruising Committee organizes a fun-packed series of activities year-round. From May through October, we organizes cruises together to as close-by as lunch in Keyport or as far afield as our annual rendezvous at Shelter Island.
