| I have a new passion; providing the RYC membership an outstanding wine list and a selection of very drinkable and reasonable wines. Bill Howard remains the lead bar chairman and he was kind enough to allow me to assist him in further developing our wine program. I started by going through the inventory and discovered many gems purchased by former bar chair persons. Many of you have already found our wine list which features Reserve and Vintage Wines. If you order any of these wines please make sure the bartender pours you a tasting amount first so that you can decide whether the wine is satisfactory and wish the rest of the bottle. In addition to the Reserve and Vintage Wine List, we have two additional pages, one featuring our white wine selection and the other featuring our red wine selection. Please feel free to approach the bartender and ask for our wine list. I wine list should also be posted on one of the two bulletin boards in the Grill room. Please feel free to contact me if you either very much like or dislike one of our selections. You will notice that our wines are priced quite reasonably and are all ready to drink now. There is a sign on my refrigerator that says "life is too short to drink bad wine". I will do my best to ensure that we have quality wines that will enhance your dining pleasure. If you ask the bartender for our wine list you will also find a page on pairing suggestions to assist you in your wine selection. Do remember that wine is a health food!
